Every so often, a project comes along that feels like pure joy from the very first stitch. That’s exactly how Bluebelle, my Floral Sea Turtle, came to life. She wasn’t planned, sketched, or mapped out in advance. She arrived in fits and starts, the way the best handmade creations often do—gently, unexpectedly, and full of personality.
Bluebelle began with a simple idea: a sea turtle with a soft, floral shell. I wanted her to feel like a tiny treasure washed ashore, something you might imagine finding nestled between seashells on a quiet beach morning.
